Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN Month! This month I will be featuring multiple videos of different Halloween looks. Halloween is such an exciting time for Makeup Artists. We get to really showcase our creativity and show you how to use makeup, like you thought you’d never use it for! This weeks video is a POP ART makeup look. You may have seen this look on SNAPCHAT, because it’s been featured as a filter {#OMG}, and it looked like a BOMB first Halloween look.
This look is actually pretty simple, while using minimal products. I honestly used SIX products for this whole look, THASIT! First I cover my whole face with Mehron Cleamblend stick. You can run a powder brush over it after if you’d like, but not necessary. Then you move to eyeshadow. Now this part is important, so PAY ATTENTION. When working with the lid color, MAC Pigment “Dark Soul”, you want to start of light and build the color from there. Take a flat brush and tap off the excess color so it doesn’t run down ya’ face. Push the color on the lid and then take a blending brush to blend it out. Repeat the process until the color is pretty dark and dramatic. Then line your bottom lashline and waterline with black eyeliner. Taking that same eyeliner {if it is a pencil} fill in, and over draw your eyebrows until you look like a pissed off DISNEY VILLAIN. Ok, so now we start to add expression lines in areas like, on your nose and around your nostrils, on your chin, your forehead and also your cheekbones. Add some lashes for a more dramatic look. Then you’re going to move to lips. Take a deep red lipstick and fill in your lips. Then line your lips with the black eyeliner. Lastly take a liquid concealer in the lightest shade available and dab some on the lips giving it the illusion of gloss, and finishing the look!
Good luck with this look, and as always, tag me in your photos!
Xo, D
